Where: Early Learning Center (formerly Little Red Schoolhouse) on Beale Ave., behind the Wing School
When: 9:15 am drummers; 9:30 am all other instruments
What to Wear: Khakis, Blue Band T-shirt, and sneakers
What to Play: America the Beautiful (the memorized version)
Reminder:
Instruments left in school over the weekend cannot be access for the parade. Please remind your student to bring their instrument home this weekend!
Parade Route: Right on Beale, left on Main, right on River, left on Tupper, left on Main. Stop at Library for brief remarks. Proceed down Main. Stop at Clark-Haddad Square for brief remarks. Proceed down Main to Beale and back to the starting point.
Sandwich Schools Band Boosters will host a concert Friday May 18th from 7-10 at SHS. The concert will feature a wide variety of local musicians including alternative singer/songwriter Carly Tefft, the band Beautiful Tuesday, and vocalists Kate Cameron and Casey McQuillen. Entrance is $5 at the door.
Tefft, a 2011 SHS alumni and current Berklee student, has
just released her 5-song studio EP, “Loud and Clear.” She will be performing
regularly in
Cd’s, t-shirts and baked goods will be available for
purchase. Ticket proceeds benefit the Sandwich Schools Band Boosters, a
non-profit supporting the instrumental and vocal music program in
The ever-popular Oak Ridge Idol will be held this Friday, May 18th at the
Oak Ridge School. SSBB is seeking people to donate baked goods to be sold
at the event. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Band Boosters.

The Spring Concert is Thursday May 10 at Sandwich High School. Students are asked to meet in
the Sandwich High School band room at 6:30 to warm up. 4th grade band
will perform first, and seats will be reserved for the students to sit
together while the other bands perform. All band students will return
to the stage for the final song of the evening.
Band Boosters will also be holding a BAKE SALE at the concert, and are
asking for donations of baked goods. Please consider donating
an item - wrapped for individual sale, please. All proceeds benefit the Sandwich Instrumental Music Program.
Pastry orders will be available for pickup today only at the SHS Band Room from 3 - 6pm. Pickup Location will be via the outside band room door.
